Dear Windsor Parents/Guardians,
We are having a Scholastic Book Fair from September 23rd – 27th. Here’s how you can participate:
Book Fair During School Hours:
On your child’s book fair day, you can send them with money, and they will be able to choose and purchase their own books at the book fair during the school day (Please check with your classroom teacher which day your child is visiting the book fair with their class.) Make a plan with your child about what to do if the book is sold out. For example, are they going to order it with Ms. Ward and get it the following week or are they going to choose a different book?
You can also attend the book fair in person at the library with your child afterschool on the day of your meet and greet the teacher or any of the afterschool times that are convenient for you
Book Fair After School Hours:
- Tuesday September 24th 3pm – 4pm
- Wednesday September 25th 1:50pm – 6:00pm
- Thursday September 26th 3pm – 6pm
- Friday September 27th 3pm – 4pm
There is no online order option for our book fair. If you are purchasing a book that has sold out, you will need to pay in person first and then Ms. Ward will put the orders through at the end of the fair and it will be delivered to your child the following week.
Lastly, a portion of the proceeds goes directly to new books for our school library. Please email me if you have any questions at liz.ward@burnabyschools.ca.
