Virtual MWM – Mentee Application
The Mentoring with Math program will offer academic support for Little Buddies in grades 3 to 7. The upcoming program will take place on Zoom on Wednesdays from 4:30 to 5:30 starting July 22nd and finishing September 9th. Students will require a strong internet connection, and a device with a webcam and microphone in order to participate.
The hour-long program is made up of 40 minutes of math work and 20 minutes of fun activities in a group setting with a volunteer Big Buddy. During each session, Big Buddies will host “break out rooms” on Zoom and Little Buddies will be assigned to a group based on their grade level. A Mentoring Coordinator will always be available during the session to supervise or assist volunteers.
New Little Buddies will be required to complete “Pre-Match Training”, which will take place an hour before the first session. It is mandatory to complete and understand the training to participate in the program.
