Dear Windsor Families…
As you know the city installed a new traffic light at Gilley & Imperial. So, we are asking parents to discuss pedestrain road safety with their child. Our students are used to a 4-way stop at that intersection and now they will have to wait until a green light & the walking signal to cross. Moreover, it is important that sudents look both ways before they cross & ask themselves “is it safe?” before they step onto the roadway.
I have invited our school RCMP liason officer to come to speak to our students at an assembly. Our teachers will also discuss this important safety life-skill with thier students.
